Been on a roll lately. I’m finding people right and left, adding them to Find A Grave, connecting families to family members memorials, just having a blast. See, that’s the thing about doing more than just your own ancestors: you never run out of people to research. And researching is the best part, the funnest part, in my opinion. But I have to air one of my biggest pet peeves: If you create a memorial on Find A Grave and take a picture of the headstone, and if that headstone shows the information of the spouse, why not add them as the spouse of the person you made the memorial for? I don’t understand that. Quite frankly, it drives me absolutely crazy to have to do that for you. It interrupts my “flow”. I get sidetracked all to often as it is.
This week I’ve been researching Cospers, Cartrights, Winters, and all the families that married into those families. It’s been a lot of fun and the time has just flown by. I have to start learning to pace myself.
Or maybe not. 🙂
